- weighs about 16 pounds
- is eating cereal very well with a spoon. We start solids soon!
- recognizes us. It's so sweet to see him light up or smile at someone he knows (especially when it's me!)
- rolls front to back ALL the time!
- tries to sit up by himself in his stroller, high chair, or if reclined back against you. He can even sustain prop sitting (propped up on both arms) briefly!
- chews on his fingers constantly! He HAS to be teething but we surely don't feel anything in his gums.
- enjoys his excersaucer and only needs to be propped up a little bit now that he's gotten tall enough.
- LOVES bath time. I seriously need to figure out how to add video to the blog, because it is hilarious to see him play in the tub!
- is finally growing hair!! It seems small amounts of new fuzz appears on the top of his head everyday. So far, it's still dark.
- laughs so easily. He has even started to notice the dogs, and laughs at Tanner all the time. All Tanner has to do is walk by Coleton, sniff his feet, or sometimes just look at him, and the boy starts to crack up. It's so sweet and funny!
- is a dare devil! Our little man loves to be thrown up in the air (by Daddy of course) or any other adventurous activity.
- has gotten off his night-time schedule, thanks to the bronchitis and his new ability to roll onto his tummy. Right now, either his coughing or rolling cause him to wake up several times a night. Plus we're still doing a feeding (formula) in the middle of the night. No, my 6 month old doesn't sleep through the night... yes, I've read several books about schedules, routines, etc. We have a routine; we have a schedule; he doesn't sleep through the night. Let's leave it at that - our time is coming! :)
Coleton, you continue to melt our hearts everyday and we can't imagine life without you. You are so much fun and just the greatest blessing to us! You are such a good baby; we could not have asked God for more! We love you so much!
*Coleton's 6 month check-up isn't actually until early next month due to scheduling issues, so I'll keep everyone posted when the time comes.
