Coleton's Baptism Day

Coleton was baptized this morning and he was such a perfect baby during the service! He was so alert and content while being held by Rev. Agnes (Norfleet) during the baptism and when meeting the congregation while everyone sang "Jesus Loves Me". It was such a precious and sweet moment that I will never forget! My heart has been filled with such gratitude for this wonderful blessing we've been given! I am also so thankful for our family that was there to support us - we love you all!

Coleton, you are a precious child of God. Your Daddy and I made some big promises today, and with God's help, we'll work hard to keep them! We love you so much!

Sunday Morning

All ready for my first day of church:

We attended the 8:45 service, which is our favorite. Coleton was the only baby in the nursery's crib room so he was able to get a lot of attention and love! And he didn't seem to mind being away from us! Yes, I realize we waited a while to take him to church. However, I've been wary of taking him places where he would be directly exposed to a lot of germs, especially from other children. It is flu season after all! Plus, I wasn't ready to drop him off and leave him in the nursery. However, now that he has started daycare and is a little older, I knew we were all ready. And I've really missed Sunday worship services.
